What is myMPS, and what are the alternatives?

What practices usually want to know:
- Where do I sign in? myMPS is reached at mymps.co.za. If you are only looking for the login page, nothing needs to change.
- What does it cover? Practice management and medical billing. The clinical record is a separate Healthbridge product, and billing can also be outsourced to their bureau.
- What is different about HeroMed? The diary, the patient record, the clinical note, the invoice and the scheme claim sit on one platform, with the AI Scribe included in the Core AI plan and optional AI Hero modules for reception, booking, messaging, invoicing and marketing.
- Is claiming included? Yes — claim submission, scheme responses, remittances and reconciliation are built into HeroMed Core AI, so there is no separate claiming arrangement to set up.
- What does moving involve? Ask for your export format in writing, then patient records, medical aid details, appointment history and outstanding balances are migrated, tariffs and note templates are set up, and both systems run in parallel for two to four weeks.
