What is the difference between HeroMed Core AI and HeroMed Prime?
Core AI is the practice platform: online booking and diary, patient records, clinical notes with the AI Scribe included, invoicing and reporting, plus optional AI Hero modules. Prime is the South African claims product, adding real-time medical scheme EDI claim submission, remittance handling and reconciliation.

Core AI
The complete AI-powered practice platform. Plans start at $49 per month, with $99, $249 and custom tiers. The AI Scribe is included and draws on the AI credits in your plan; the practitioner always reviews and signs the note. AI Reception, AI Booking, AI Invoicing, AI Messaging and AI Marketing are optional modules you add as the practice needs them.
Prime
Only for real-time South African medical scheme EDI claims — R1,045 per month including VAT, with its existing add-ons. If your revenue does not run through medical schemes, you do not need it.
Long term
The direction of travel is Core AI: it is where the AI capability and the ongoing development sit. Prime exists for practices that need the South African real-time claims rail today.
