About HeroMed
Does HeroMed include a patient CRM?
Yes. In HeroMed the patient record is the CRM: contact details, medical aid and plan, referrals, ICD-10 assignment, documents, communications history and appointment history, shared across the practice. There is no separate CRM to buy or sync, because the clinical note, the invoice and the real-time medical scheme claim all run off the same record.

What that means day to day:
- One record, one entry. A new patient, a changed number or an updated medical aid is captured once.
- Communication that reads the diary. Confirmations, reminders and follow-ups run off live appointments and the consent recorded on the record, so a cancelled or moved booking changes what gets sent.
- Claims off the same record. The note becomes the invoice, the invoice becomes the claim, and remittances reconcile back against it.
- One place to secure. Fewer systems holding patient contact data means a smaller POPIA surface to audit and account for.
