Which practice management software includes an AI scribe?
HeroMed includes an AI Scribe in its Core AI plan — it drafts the consultation note inside the patient record and the practitioner reviews, corrects and signs it. Most other platforms require a separate AI scribe subscription such as Heidi, Freed, Nabla or Commure alongside the practice software.

What to check either way
- Who signs the note. The clinician, always. An AI scribe drafts; it does not sign and it does not make clinical decisions.
- Consent. How consent to record is captured and stored.
- Audio handling. Where the recording goes, how long it is kept, who can access it.
- Cost model. Whether the scribe is priced per practitioner, per note, or by usage. HeroMed''s AI Scribe uses the AI credits included with the Core AI plan, and credits can be topped up if a practice uses more.
