Can I put online booking on my own website?
Yes, if your booking system provides an embed snippet — a short piece of code you paste into your existing site so patients book on your own domain with your branding, instead of being sent to a third-party booking link.

Two ways it is done
A hosted link. The booking system gives you a URL and you add a "Book now" button. Simplest to set up, but patients leave your site, and the page carries the vendor''s branding.
An embed. You paste a snippet into your own page and the booking flow appears inside it. Patients stay on your domain, the page matches your site, and your analytics keep tracking the visit through to the booking.
Why the embed usually wins
- Patients are less likely to abandon when the domain does not change.
- Your own site keeps the search value of the booking page.
- Branding stays consistent, which matters for trust with health information.
- Conversion is measurable end to end.
What to check before you commit
- Does every booking page have its own embed snippet, so you can put a new-patient page and a follow-up page on different pages of your site?
- Does the embed resize properly on a phone?
- Are booking rules — appointment types, minimum notice, how far ahead patients may book — set per page?
- Is the person booking verified before a slot is held?
- Does the booking write into the same diary reception uses?
HeroMed booking pages each come with an embed snippet, and each page has its own appointment types, locations, practitioners and rules. See AI Booking or how to set up online booking for your clinic.
