Why can't my practice WhatsApp stay on my phone?
Meta lets a number run either in the WhatsApp phone app or in a connected business system, not both at once.

When HeroMed connects your practice number to WhatsApp, the number runs in the practice system so the whole team can see messages, reminders go out from the diary, and every conversation is saved to the patient record. Meta doesn't let the same number stay active in the WhatsApp app on a phone at the same time. That's why most practices use a new dedicated number and leave personal phones as they are.
